		<title>Chandeliers A Joy in Lights</title>
		<link>http://lightingfixturescom.com/General/Chandeliers-A-Joy-in-Lights</link>
		<description>Chandeliers, A Joy in Lights
A chandelier is a decorative light that has at least two arms that hold lights. It is mounted into ceilings. Though they come in different sizes, they look best when mounted into high ceilings. It has bulbs/candles for the illumination, shades, and collars, canopies, and chains for its suspension from the ceiling. Bobeches are used to collect candle drippings.
The first is a candle chandelier used in medieval places for assemblies. The people used a wood in the form of a cross with a number of spikes t secure the candles. Being unable to get enough light, they suspended it on the ceiling. In the 15th century, ring and crown designs became popular as d&amp;eacute;cor. They then were usually found in palaces, homes of merchant class, and nobilities. That time, the cost of illumination during the night was high, and it made the ceiling-mounted light a symbol of status and luxury. In the 18th century, neoclassical and glass chandeliers became its new form.
It was the 19th century when chandeliers were used with gas. Later that century, as electricity was discovered and its distribution became wider, the gasolier became more and more incompetent.
The largest of its kind is made of Bohemian crystal, which is from Queen Victoria.
Its evolution became more complex and elaborate. Below are some of the styles of chandeliers.

  Art Nouveau
  French Empire
  Contemporary
  French Candle
  Neo-Baroque
  Crystal
  Beaded and Shell
  Metal
  Murano Glass
  Mission
  Antler

		<title>Homey Spotlight</title>
		<link>http://lightingfixturescom.com/General/Homey-Spotlight</link>
		<description>Homey Spotlight
No one is telling you that you should not have your own spotlight in your house, if you can live with it then why not. But what I am referring to is track lighting, a revolutionary and economical way of putting the right amount of accented lighting to make your room shine like a sitcom set.
Having industrial looking track lighting can be a great thing for someone who wants their living area to double as personal gallery of their favorite works of art. It could be something that you made and framed or bought from a local artist about to make a hit.
It doesn&amp;rsquo;t have to look too industrial and bland if you know what and where to place them. Metal track lighting comes in an assortment of colors that would blend well with your wall to wall carpeting or your wall paper. You can even choose one that would actually stick out, complementing the mood of the room with a hip vibe.
You can even have personalized designs placed on the track lighting that you prefer. You can place designs on otherwise bland and white track lights. Then you can place it into your home and make it a form of art on its own right.
When it comes to the latest hip homes and small spaces, track lighting has become a popular choice since it is often minimalistic but aesthetically pleasing. With this kind of lighting, the limits of your imagination would be the borders of the use you can find for it.
So switch it on.

		<title>Illuminated Walls</title>
		<link>http://lightingfixturescom.com/General/Illuminated-Walls</link>
		<description>Illuminated Walls
I call them modern day wall torches. They should be place in the right places to light the way and far enough from each other so as not to render them a waste.
The fascinating thing about wall lights is that you can choose to have them be as discreet as you want them or they would be one of the things that you would see when you come into the room. For staircases, it is nice to have illuminated steps but there is that blinding element of actual stairs being lit. So having wall lights on the side would be more tasteful.
As for the mood of your room, remember that wall lights would help accentuate the bigger picture. You should not be trapped into conformity though. Wall lights come in various colors, shapes and materials. So knock yourself out with choosing which ones you want in your living area.
You can actually transform your room depending on the kind of wall lights you use. Perhaps you can turn your minimalist living room into a party zone with wall lights that come in various colors without having to be tacky enough to have disco lights installed into your walls.
Mood settings in bedrooms are also somewhere that wall lights would come in handy. Even if you have a main source of light, you can place wall lights on either sides of your bed so that you can eliminate the expense of having a lamp that can be knocked down or broken.
Bring the brightest ideas into your home with quaint wall lights, why wait?
